Considerate service has already started before it opened.
Kyo-tsukemono Kiyomizu Iseya is a Japanese pickles shop located in Yasaka street near a historical five-storey pagoda "Yasaka-no-to". In Kyoto, there is a custom to sweep and splinkle water
in the street to greet people. So does Mr. Akinori Uchida, the president of Iseya. He wakes up early and cleans the stone pavement in front of his shop before business hours. He also clean
his shop after closing it for customers visiting the next day. He is always ready to welcome customers. "We would like customers to feel comfortable when visiting us." said Mrs. Chiaki
Uchida, a wife of Mr. Uchida. They work together with staff and produce many types of pikles using a variety of vegetables in Kyoto. All products are hand made. You will be always
welcomed with a smile and warm hospitality in Kyo-tsukemono Kiyomizu Iseya.
