Experience of love and passion through traditional Japanese music
N.Y.C. Corp. was established to support the activity of Mr. Utanoichi Okuda, who performs traditional Japanese instrumens of Koto and Shamisen. He is a successor of Ikuta-ryu Seiha organizatoin. Since he debuted at the age of four, he continues to perform music actively, not only traditional Japanese but also mordern western one, at home and abroad. "I would like to introduce Japanese culture to many people," says Mr. Okuda. In order to achieve his ambition, he is developing many projects. He is also writing an article of the management related traditional Japanese music to a tourist industry for a postgraduate course. He takes three diferrent roles:a successor, a producer, and a scholar, and he thinks to do all the same. He says,"If people have love, everything will go well."
